We can’t let go with our left and hold on with our right
It creates
Deliberation
Confusion
Frustration
Delusion
We do this to ourselves. YOU don’t.
Riotous imaginations. Little control. Minimal yielding.
I. Me. Mine. SELF.
We create the scene, take the leading role
then walk away with a result we never expected.
Surprise to us, but never to You. Never.
You watch us as we rant and rave, jerking about like stiff wooden dolls.
You watch. And wait for us to stop. Eventually we always do.
We are knowing, yet understanding nothing.
We are breathing, but not truly living.
From the shore you shout “Take both hands off. Let go your agenda.
Move it out – it has no place here!”
But we cannot hear you
because our thoughts and arguments are
so loud in our heads,
raging and resisting the very thing that
brings the relief we so crave.
“Peace, be still!”
We shout back “ Seeing is believing!”
You say” Believing is seeing with the eyes I give you.
Your eyes are of your flesh. They are of no use to Me.
Pluck them out…”
Disable your flesh to allow spiritual enablement.
We have no need of two sets of eyes.
Which ones we are we going to see through?
