Completely Sure

A touch so light, it’s barely felt
Like a whisper on the breeze
Yet deep inside you know He’s here
And find yourself upon your knees

“My Lord, My God!”
You cry from your soul
It’s only your longing that you can hear
His presence all around you now
You feel His reach and your Godly fear

You know it’s Now, you’ve seen the signs
The writing is on the wall
You’ve sensed His voice so many times
But now, you hear Him call

“Deny yourself, take up your cross
And come and follow Me
You’ve been bought at a price -
The cost?
My life given for you,
To be free.”

Unworthy? That I am and more!
But His blood has made me pure
My sinful state He has ripped apart
And my salvation?
Completely
Sure.
