Fellowship of the Saints

1 John 1:7But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

1 John 1:7
But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Fellowship is something I really, really treasure.

There is nothing more precious than being able to share the life of Christ in you with another who loves Him too. To be able to be transparent with another, to ‘let our hair down’, to be ourselves, is something we all need to one degree or another, don’t we? It takes time and effort and the Lord’s love and leading for fellowship to be shared properly, otherwise we can become selfish and self-absorbed.

I have a few brothers and sisters that I can do this with. I don’t know where I ‘d be without them. In turn, I am always open to them for the same. We share the mundane goings on in our ordinary lives, we laugh together, we look out for and encourage, we can call each other at any time of day or night and we are able to share the excitement in our joys and weep with one another in our sorrows. Most of all, we can take each other before the Lord immediately there is a need.

We are all very different types, from different cultures and backgrounds and countries and continents, yet the Lord has joined our hearts together in the Lord Jesus as it should be. These are people who really want to talk about the Lord and who do not have special times only of talking about the Lord.

To be a child of God and alone can be  really tough at times. I was in this situation for a few years a while back, yet sometimes that is what is required of us and as I have come to see, things are for a season. God knows what’s best for us and I am able to see now, how He used this time in my life to bring me to a place that I needed to be in for His purposes. I am slowly learning that I do not need to always understand everything that goes on, just to simply trust Him.

To those brothers and sisters who have been brought into my life by the Lord, both online and in (my now) Church,  I want you all to know that you are very treasured and that I value you and I am very privileged to walk this way with you, however long the Lord may allow it and my prayer is that I may in return, bring you the richness and abundance that you so willingly bring to me.

Bless you 😀
