Anyone can keep his joy when he's riding high in the Holy Ghost, not being tried or tempted. But God wants us to keep ourselves in his love at all times—especially in our temptations. The apostle John tells us very simply how we can keep ourselves in God's love: "We have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that […]
Sola Scriptura
The Bible is the sole written divine revelation and alone can bind the conscience of believers absolutely.
Sola Fide
Justification is by faith alone. The merit of Christ imputed to us by faith is the sole ground of our acceptance by God, by which our sins are remitted.
Solus Christus
Christ is the only mediator through whose work we are redeemed.
Sola Gratia
Our salvation rests solely on the work of God’s grace for us and in us.
Reading David Wilkerson’s Daily blog today, (and please do go and read it ) I was reminded of a post I wrote in September of 2008, most part of which is the title above.
It is one of those posts that is still very much a part of my life and I have learned with slow, awkward steps and many scraped knees from falling down, to wait upon the Lord and to listen for His voice a little better than I did at the time of writing it.
I came through a personal crisis last year, that [...]
A river touches places of which its source knows nothing, and Jesus says if we have received of His fulness, however small the visible measure of our lives, out of us will flow the rivers that will bless to the uttermost parts of the earth. We have nothing to do with the outflow – “This is the work of God that ye believe. . . .” God rarely allows a soul to see how great a blessing he is.
A river is victoriously persistent, it overcomes [...]

“I INDEED… BUT HE”
I indeed baptize you with water . . but He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and fire.” Matthew 3:11
Have I ever come to a place in my experience where I can say – “I indeed – but He”? Until that moment does come, I will never know what the baptism of the Holy Ghost means. I indeed am at an end, I cannot do a thing: but He begins just there – He does the things no one else can ever do. Am I prepared for [...]
“And Peter . . . walked on the water to go to Jesus. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid.” Matthew 14:29-30
The wind was actually boisterous, the waves were actually high, but Peter did not see them at first. He did not reckon with them, he simply recognized his Lord and stepped out in recognition of Him, and walked on the water. Then he began to reckon with the actual things, and down he went instantly. Why could not our [...]
A few years ago, I wanted to go into a deeper walk with the Lord. I had never even known it was possible until a few things took place in my life. Until that point, God was just Someone who was kind of real and ‘way out there’ somewhere. You know, ‘out there’
When we ask Him to take us into the deeps with Him, He requires of us. He requires our very lives. He requires that we give up all our rights to ourselves. We can hold on to nothing. Not even a tiny bit. In us there is no [...]

I have put some rambling questions down that I have and am being confronted with in my own life and have been talking to the Lord about.
I put them now to you, should you wish to read them, that you might seek the answers from the Lord for yourself and your life in Him. Some might pertain to you, some not.
I don’t need to know the answers. It is not a finger pointing session, just some stuff that’s going on in my head right now. Some are tougher than others, but all I believe, worthy of consideration [...]
This is a very personal posting today and I so want you to see something about how the Lord teaches us to live in Him that you may never have understood before.I will start with Oswald Chambers -
WHAT IS THAT TO THEE? “Lord, what shall this man do? . . What is that to thee? Follow thou Me.” John 21:21-22
One of our severest lessons comes from the stubborn refusal to see that we must not interfere in other people’s lives. It takes a long time to realize the danger of being an amateur providence, that [...]
An incredible moment took place yesterday that I would like to share with you and for which I want to give our wonderful God praise, glory and honour for.
I went to my local shopping centre to pick up my post and popped into a few shops for a few things. I love the colour orange in any shade, so being the girl that I am, my eye was captured by a pair of gorgeous, orange shoes, (I have many vices), that I saw in a shop that I had never been interested in going into before.
We can’t let go with our left and hold on with our right
It creates
Deliberation
Confusion
Frustration
Delusion
We do this to ourselves. YOU don’t.
Riotous imaginations. Little control. Minimal yielding.
I. Me. Mine. SELF.
We create the scene, take the leading role
then walk away with a result we never expected.
Surprise to us, but never to You. Never.
You watch us as we rant and rave, jerking about like stiff wooden dolls.
You watch. And wait for us to stop. Eventually we always do.
We are knowing, yet understanding nothing.
We are breathing, but not truly living.
From the shore you shout “Take both hands off. Let go your agenda.
Move [...]
